What the authorities mean
A Solana token has two switches. The mint authority can create new coins, and the freeze authority can lock the coins in someone's wallet. Revoking both means nobody, including the team, can ever do either. Neither can be turned back on.
Check it yourself
- Copy the contract address from openseedsi.com.
- Open solscan.io and paste it into the search.
- On the token page, check the supply (1,000,000,000) and that Mint Authority and Freeze Authority are empty.
